BLACK HOLE GENERATOR Enters Studio

October 8, 2007

Industrial black metallers BLACK HOLE GENERATOR have entered the studios to lay down the drum tracks for their first full-length album. Entitled "Angstreich", the LP will be the follow-up to the mini-CD "Black Karma", which was released last year on the Ars Magna label. Recording will take place in Bergen's Conclave Media Studios, which is owned by BLACK HOLE GENERATOR's vocalist Bjørnar E. Nilsen, along with ENSLAVED's Herbrand Larsen and Arve Isdal. One of Norway's top producers, Nilsen recently finished work on the soon-to-be-released album from DEAD TO THIS WORLD, the band formed and fronted by former IMMORTAL bassist Iscariah. He will also front his own avant-garde metal project VULTURE INDUSTRIES at the Karmøygeddon Arctic Vol: II festival, where the band will play tracks from the newly released album "The Dystopia Journals".

BLACK HOLE GENERATOR has a permanent, two-man lineup, comprising Bjørnar E. Nilsen and Dreggen (DEATHCON, AETERNUS, touring member of TAAKE),and a touring lineup that includes current and former members of venerable bands such as IMMORTAL, GORGOROTH, SULPHUR and ENSLAVED, among others.

Tracks from "Black Karma" can be found on the band's MySpace page.
